White Night à Riga
"White Night" will take place in Riga for the tenth consecutive year and is part of the international European White Nights project launched by five European capitals – Brussels, Madrid, Paris, Riga and Rome. The idea of "White Nights" has also been taken over by Amsterdam, Bucharest, Porto and Valletta in Europe, joined by Toronto, Tokyo, Montreal and other cities in the rest of the world. The "White Night" forum in Riga is organised by Riga City Council and Riga City Council’s Education, Culture and Sports Department’s Culture Board, in cooperation with the most active Latvian cultural organisations involving many Latvian and foreign artists. The city’s cafés, galleries, bookstores, clubs and other companies are also actively involved in the forum.
